Jenny Bradley is originally from Tennessee and received her undergraduate degree (magna cum laude) from Emory & Henry College in 1995. Jenny attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she was a member of the Holderness Moot Court National Team and was elected as a member of the National Order of the Barristers. Jenny received her law degree in 1998.
Jenny was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1998 and was certified as a Family Law Specialist in 2004. In 2005, Jenny received training and certification as a DRC Certified Family Financial Mediator. She has also received training in collaborative law. As a proponent of alternate dispute resolution, in addition to being a mediator and collaborative lawyer, Jenny has also served as an arbitrator, a neutral third party evaluator, and a court-appointed referee.
Jenny’s practice is devoted to working with clients in family law matters, including premarital agreements, separation and property settlement agreements, qualified domestic relations orders, appeals, and litigation involving equitable distribution, alimony, child support and child custody. Her knowledge of and experience with alternative dispute resolution assists her in resolving many disputes for her clients without litigation.
Recognition and Involvement in the Profession and Community:
Jenny has been named “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina (2009 & 2010) and “Rising Star” by North Carolina’s Super Lawyer publication (2011). Jenny serves on the membership committee of the Family Law Section of the North Carolina State Bar Association, as well as the athletic committee for the Wake County Bar Association.
When not devoting her time to the practice of law, Jenny is co-captain of a charity bicycle team, the Selma Cyclepaths and a member of The Bad News Barristers softball team. The Cyclepaths have been the top fundraising team for the area’s Multiple Sclerosis bike event for the past six years and are well on their way to be the first team in the local chapter’s history to raise 1 million dollars to fight MS. The Bad News Barristers recently won the Wake County Lawyers’ League softball championship for the third consecutive year.
